WINGS Community Foundation Global Status Report 2010
A new format for the GSR
The 2010 Community Foundation Global Status Report is the sixth in a series of reports on the development of community foundations around the world, and the first web-based version of this signature report. It was commissioned and funded by Worldwide Initiatives for Grantmaker Support (WINGS).

Local women attend a computer literacy class. The Mayan Riviera Community Foundation supports the project that educates women for better access to higher paid jobs.
In Canada, community foundations typically had paid staff only if assets exceeded $1 million.
The Community Foundation for Ireland
This nationally based community foundation is addressing key social issues through its Impact Grants Programme. The first National LGBT Helpline, a confidential telephone support service for Ireland’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender population, was established after a need for it was identified through the foundation’s grassroots grantmaking activity.
